About Christian N. Habitz
Christian Habitz founded The Invictus Collective in 2021. Over more than 25 years in financial markets and investing, he developed a passion for investing and job creation that was reflected in early-stage private investments across technology, financial services, healthcare, defense, and other industries.
Before founding Invictus, Christian was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan. His experience also included Credit Suisse's Private Banking Group and Morgan Stanley's Private Client Group. Earlier, he managed a hedge fund for Geneva Securities, LLC, where he was a derivatives trader and risk manager, and worked for Financial Investments Corporation, the private multi-family office of former LaSalle Bank Chairman Harrison Steans. That early family-office experience helped inspire The Invictus Collective.
Christian graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and was a varsity letterman in basketball and football. Through his family foundation, he supported educational opportunities for underprivileged youth and criminal-justice reform.
Christian was recognized by Forbes as one of America's Top 125 Wealth Advisors and as the No. 4 advisor in Illinois.
