About Robert D. Bower, CFA, CAIA
Robert Bower is the Owner and Chief Investment Officer of The Invictus Collective. He has more than 20 years of financial-markets and institutional-investment experience. His responsibilities include portfolio analysis and construction, performance attribution, investment due diligence, and oversight of the firm's trading activities. Robert also chairs the Invictus Investment Committee.
Before joining Invictus, Robert was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of the Private Markets group at Healthcare Services Corporation. He helped develop investment strategy and allocate assets for the firm's $25 billion corporate portfolio, and he built and led its private-equity and credit programs. His experience also includes work with the multi-family office at Promus Capital and running a derivatives-trading company at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Robert holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations and is active with community and charitable organizations.
